I rebuilt my step-dad's old web site which he had made in the early 90's. Back then there was no such thing as CSS, and PHP was just getting started. Now, his site has a new look and entirely new layout, plus, like this present site, is entirely coded with PHP programming and uses a MySQL database.

I'm still learning all of this stuff (CSS, PHP, SQL, etc...) so there are likely to be bugs or glitches here or there. So far I'm very happy with the progress I've made in this past year! The link below will open up in a new browser window.

The logo up at the very top-left corner of the page I actually made from a photograph of a flag that Dave (my step dad) made by hand. I used Adobe Illustrator to remove the color and break the lines into group-shapes, and Adobe Photoshop to add other colors and drop shadows and other stuff. I never learned how to make a good, workable logo in school so this is my second attempt (after my Koshomind one). I think that it turned out all right considering I have no training with Logo's, Illustrator or Photoshop : ) I think that it looks pretty good on the web but for printing, it's probably going to be a nightmare. I need to be able to reduce it down to 2 colors and no shading or anything like that for print jobs.
